Rune Priest

Por fin he terminado mi Rune Priest. Aqui tienen una fotos para que me digan que les parece.

Bases Basing

Despues de haber estado perdido unos dias, quiero mostrarles lo que estoy haciendo con las bases de mis Lobos.

La idea es lograr el efecto de nieve. Para esto, primero pegue cristales de una bolsa de sales de baño, para que parezcan pedazos de hielo.

After being lost for some days, I want to show you what I am doing with the bases of my Wolves.
The idea is to get the snow effect. First, I glued some bath salt cristals on the base, so it resemble pieces of ice.

Luego le puse cola fria a toda la base y le coloque bicarbonato. La verdad es que el efecto me dejo bastante conforme.

Then I put some PVA glue all over the base, and then I put some baking soda. I'm pretty pleased with the results.

Aunque al parecer fue demasiado y termino tapando los cristales, pero para ser la primera creo que esta bien.   Definitivamente tengo que hacer resaltar mas los cristales para que se noten un poco.

En otras noticias, por fin llego mi libro de reglas, plantillas y dados. Ya solo queda que aparezca mi battleforce y podre comenzar a jugar.

But maybe it was too much soda, because the cristals can't be seen, but for the first one I think it's ok. Definitely I have to make the cristals stand out a little more.
In other news, mi rulebook, templates and dice has finally arrived. Only my battleforce is missing, but hoping to arrive soon, so I can start playing.

WIP: Rune Priest y Photo Box

Por fin con masilla verde en mis manos, decidi hacer la prueba de modelar algo de pelo y barba para mi Rune Priest, ademas de el brazo iquierdo en una posicion mas natural y asi darle algo de actitud. Aqui unas fotos de como esta quedando (por favor ignoren la moneda):

At last, with greenstuff in my hands, I decided to try and make some hair and beard for my Rune Priest, also, try to put the left arm in a better position for some attitude. Here are some pics of the work so far (please ignore the coin):

 Aun le quiero hacer lineas a los "dreadlocks" para que se asemeje mas a pelo y el brazo tiene el clasico tratamiento de "hoyos-alambre-masilla" para dale la posicion deseada.

Otra cosa que queria compartir es mi "photo box" artesanal, que mas bien es "pho..." y nada mas, pero saca de apuros, una hoja blanca, doblada y pegada con scotch, y una lampara de velador bien ubicada. Las fotos de arriba fueron tomadas ahi. Juzguen ustedes si vale la pena o no. Aqui, las fotos del invento.

I want to do some lines in the "dreadlocks" so it looks more like hair. The arm its modified with the "hole-wire-putty" method to get the desired position.
Another thing I like to share it's my "photo box", not the best one but it do the trick. It's just a white sheet of paper, folded and put togheter with scotch-tape. And a lamp. The pics of the Rune Priest were taken there, so judge for yourself if its useful or not. Now, the pics of the invention.

Warhammer 40K

Hace poco comence con esto del Warhammer. Debo admitir que me llamo siempre la atencion, pero nunca habia decidido dar el paso definitivo.

Ahora me encuentro coleccionando, modificando y pintando figuritas para lograr mi ejercito de Space Wolves, una tarea no menor.

Aqui unas fotos de lo que he hecho y como avanzo

I started with the warhammer thing just recently. I have to admit that always got my attention, but I couldn't decide to start just yet.
Now I'm collecting, modifying and painting minis, so I can have a Space Wolves Army... not small task at all.
Here are some pictures of what I had done so far

I haven't finished them yet, and some details are missing, like the basing, but I think I'm in the "good road"
